Electronics Surge Protection℠ provides up to $6,000 per year in reimbursement for repair or replacement of covered electronics damaged by a power surge. The bundle combines both and saves you $5.95 each month.

How do I sign up?

Visit a BrandsMart USA store or call 888-802-6641 and ask a sales associate to sign you up for a plan. Plans can't be added to an online order on BrandsMart.com. Find a BrandsMart USA store near you.

Does surge protection protect against a direct lightning strike?

Nothing protects against a direct lightning strike. Quality surge protection equipment helps block surges caused by indirect strikes.

I rent my home. Which plan is right for me?

Electronics Surge Protection℠ is available to both homeowners and renters. Renters are typically responsible for damage to their own electronics unless it's covered by renter's insurance.

How am I billed?

The monthly fee, plus tax, is added to your FPL electric bill.

FPL HOME IS AN UNREGULATED SUBSIDIARY OF FLORIDA POWER & LIGHT COMPANY (FPL). The SurgeShield® program is offered and administered by FPL Home, and not FPL. The Electronics Surge Protection℠ program is administered by FPL Home and provided by OnPoint Warranty Solutions LLC, an independent company. Monthly fees are billed through your FPL electric bill.
