Cooking Appliance Packages

A cooking package is the range, the microwave and often the hood bought together as one order, in one finish, with handles and controls that were designed to sit next to each other. You get a kitchen that looks planned rather than assembled, and one delivery instead of three.

This is the page to start on if you are remodeling, building, or replacing more than one cooking appliance at once. If you also need the refrigerator and dishwasher, go to kitchen appliance packages instead, which covers the whole room.

Shop Cooking Appliances by Type

  • Friendly, expert help in the showroom. Our appliance team works with these models every day and will happily walk you through coordinating finishes, handles and one delivery across several appliances. No pressure and no jargon: tell them your space and your budget, and they will help you shortlist.
  • Gas ranges. The centerpiece of a gas package. Flame control on top, and burner output you can see.
  • Electric ranges. Smooth-top and induction models, the easier install in most homes.
  • Microwaves. Over-the-range, built-in and drawer models, and the piece that most often sets the finish for the rest.
  • Cooktops. For a split setup with the burners on the island and the oven in a cabinet run.
  • Range hoods. Proper ventilation sized to the cooking surface, rather than a microwave fan doing the job.
  • All ranges and ovens. The full cooking category if you want to build the package yourself.
  • All appliance packages. Laundry and whole-kitchen bundles as well as cooking.

If a particular brand matters to you, matching finishes across a run is easiest within one lineup. Compare Samsung electric ranges, LG gas ranges or Frigidaire ranges and build outward from there. GE, GE Profile, Cafe, KitchenAid and Whirlpool all offer matched cooking lineups too. See the full brand lineup.

Why Buying Together Beats Buying Piecemeal

  • Financing is one of the better reasons to buy here. There is more than one way to spread the cost, and they work differently. The BrandsMart USA credit card carries 0% promotional financing on qualifying purchases, with the length of the term depending on the category and the amount. Katapult lease-to-own needs no credit at all, and you can check your buying power without affecting your credit score. Klarna splits a purchase into interest-free installments with a decision in seconds. Because those are three separate programs rather than one, a route that is not a fit for you does not have to be the end of it.
  • A clear return policy. If it turns out to be the wrong choice, our return and refund policy explains exactly how exchanges and refunds work. Return windows are shorter on major appliances than on small items, so check the terms before delivery day.
  • The finishes actually match. Stainless is not one color. Two manufacturers' stainless can read warm against cool side by side, and black stainless and slate vary even more. Buying from one lineup removes the guesswork.
  • So do the handles and controls. Handle shape, knob style and display type are what make a run look designed. These are the details you notice every day and cannot change later.
  • One delivery, one installation visit. Coordinating a range and a microwave separately means two appointments and two chances for a gap in the schedule. See what is included in our delivery and installation details.
  • You measure once. Planning the whole run at the same time catches the problems, like a hood that is narrower than the range or a microwave that leaves too little clearance above the cooktop.
  • Package pricing. Buying the set together is normally better value than adding the same appliances to your cart one at a time. Check appliance deals as well before you order.
Is it cheaper to buy an appliance package than separate appliances?

Buying the set together is normally better value than adding the same models one at a time, and it saves you the cost and hassle of separate delivery and installation visits. Compare the package against the individual prices for the models you actually want, since a package with one appliance you would not have chosen is not a saving.

Can I mix brands in a cooking package, or do they all have to match?

Within a package they normally are all one brand, and that is the point: manufacturers design finishes, handles and control styles to line up inside their own lineup. You can absolutely mix brands, but you have to buy the pieces separately and accept that stainless is not a single color, so two makers' versions can read warm against cool once they are on the same wall. Mixing works best when the appliances do not touch, when you stay with plain stainless rather than black stainless or slate, and when the one appliance you care most about is the odd one out. If they will sit side by side, compare the actual doors in person before you order rather than trusting two product photos.

Can I swap one appliance in a package?

Sometimes, depending on how the package is built. If the combination you want is not offered as a set, the alternative is buying the pieces individually from one brand's lineup, which keeps the finishes matched even without package pricing. Our appliance team can tell you what is possible on a given package.

Will everything in my package be delivered at the same time?

That is the aim, and it is one of the main reasons to buy together. A single order gives you one delivery window for the whole set instead of several appointments. Availability can still split an order, so confirm the schedule when you buy and check our delivery and installation details for what the team handles on site.

What is included in a cooking appliance package?

Most cooking packages include a range and a microwave, and many add a hood or swap the range for a separate cooktop and wall oven. The exact contents vary from package to package, so read the item list on each one. If you want the refrigerator and dishwasher included too, look at kitchen packages instead.

Do I need a professional to install a cooking package?

For most of it, yes. Gas connections need a licensed gas fitter, a new 240-volt circuit needs an electrician, and an over-the-range microwave needs mounting and the blower set for your venting direction. Arrange professional installation when you order rather than after the appliances arrive.

What should I measure before buying a cooking package?

Measure every opening along the cooking wall, the height from floor to counter, the depth to the cabinet face, and the cabinet height above the range. Then measure the doorways and turns the appliances have to travel through. Bring those numbers with you, because they decide which packages will physically fit.

Do cooking packages include the range hood?

Some do and some rely on an over-the-range microwave for ventilation. If you cook on gas or cook heavily, a dedicated hood moves more air and sits at a better height than a microwave fan. Check what the package includes and add a hood separately if it is not in the set.

Where can I see cooking appliance packages in person near me?

BrandsMart USA has large showrooms across Florida and Georgia with matched cooking appliances displayed together, which is the only reliable way to judge whether two finishes really match. Find your nearest showroom and bring the measurements for your whole cooking wall.

What financing options are available on cooking packages?

Three separate programs, which is the point. The BrandsMart USA credit card carries 0% promotional financing on qualifying purchases, and major appliances are usually where the longer terms apply. Katapult is lease-to-own and needs no credit, and you can check your buying power without affecting your credit score. Klarna splits the cost into interest-free installments with a decision in seconds. Because they underwrite differently, it is worth asking about more than one. Current terms are on our financing page.

What a Cooking Package Usually Includes

Most cooking packages pair a range with a microwave. Gas packages put a gas range with an over-the-range microwave, which suits cooks who want flame control on top. Electric packages pair a smooth-top range with a microwave and are the easier install, since the 240-volt circuit is usually already there.

Larger packages swap the range for a separate cooktop and wall oven, and some add a range hood instead of relying on the microwave for ventilation. Check the item list on each package before you order, because what is included varies from one to the next.

1. Measure the whole run, not each appliance

Take the width of every opening along the cooking wall, the height from floor to counter, the depth from the wall to the cabinet face, and the height of the cabinet above the range. Then measure the doorways, hallways and turns the appliances have to come through. Doing this once for the whole run is far quicker than discovering a problem on the third delivery.

2. Confirm your fuel and circuits before you choose

Look behind the current range. A flexible metal line with a shutoff valve means gas; a heavy cord and a large outlet mean a 240-volt circuit. A gas package needs the line, an electric package needs the circuit, and an over-the-range microwave needs its own outlet in the cabinet above. Switching fuel is licensed work, so price it before you commit to a package.

3. Pick the finish and stay with it

Fingerprint-resistant stainless is the safe default and the easiest to match if you replace something later. Black stainless, white and slate look excellent against painted cabinetry but are much harder to match across brands and across model years. Whatever you choose, buy the whole package in it rather than hoping two finishes will read the same on the wall.

4. Sort out ventilation as part of the decision

If the package uses an over-the-range microwave as the hood, work out whether your kitchen can duct outside or only recirculate through a charcoal filter. Ducted removes heat, grease and moisture properly; recirculating does not. If you cook on gas or cook heavily, a dedicated hood sized to the cooking surface is worth choosing over the microwave fan.

5. Book delivery and installation as one job

Give the whole package one delivery window so the old appliances leave and the new ones arrive together. Have the gas fitter or electrician lined up for anything that needs a new connection, and ask about haul-away for the old units at the same time. If you are installing during a remodel, confirm the cabinets and counters will be finished before the delivery date.

A cooking package or buying each appliance separately?

Buy the package when you are replacing two or more cooking appliances at once and you want the run to look planned rather than assembled. The set is normally better value than the same models added to a cart one at a time, it arrives as one order with one delivery window, and the finishes, handle shapes and control styles were drawn to sit next to each other. Stainless is not a single color, and two manufacturers' versions of it read warm against cool once they are side by side on the same wall.

Buy the pieces separately when one appliance matters more to you than the match. A package built around a model you would not have chosen is not a saving, and some combinations, a high-output gas range with a microwave drawer for instance, are simply not sold as a set. The compromise that keeps most of the benefit is to buy individually from a single brand's lineup, which holds the finishes and handles together even without package pricing.

A cooking package or a full kitchen package?

Stay with a cooking package if the refrigerator and dishwasher are staying. There is no sense paying to replace appliances that work, and a cooking set keeps the decision to the one wall that really has to coordinate: the range, the microwave and the hood. It is also the smaller project, one delivery and one installation visit instead of a whole room.

Step up to a kitchen package if you are remodeling, building, or the fridge and the dishwasher are near the end of their lives anyway. Buying the whole room at once is normally the best value per appliance, and it is the only reliable way to keep the finish consistent all the way around, because a stainless door bought two years later rarely matches the one next to it. The honest trade-off is scale: a much bigger single spend, more to measure, and one back-ordered item can hold up the entire delivery.

Opening the doors and pulling out the drawers tells you more than any spec sheet, and every cooking package here can be seen in person. We have eleven showrooms across South Florida and metro Atlanta.

Each store page has the address, phone number and current showroom hours. You can also find the store nearest you or order online and collect in store.

However you prefer to buy, the choice is yours. Come see the cooking packages in person at any of our showrooms across Florida and Georgia, order online and pick up in store, or have yours delivered and installed, with haul-away of the old unit available on most major appliances. Financing is available on qualifying purchases, including a lease-to-own route that needs no credit. Bring your kitchen measurements, and we can plan the whole set and one delivery around them.
