There are all kinds of beds and all kinds of casters, but bed frames use a different type of stem than those found on regular chairs or furniture. We have found what we believe is the right caster for most bed frames and even some casters for the "Do-It-Yourselfers". The Leggett and Platt 491583 bed frame casters have a 3/8" diameter x 1 9/16" long Grip Neck Stem. This stems to be the typical Bed Caster Stem but you should measure your stem to make sure. The important dimensions for you to measure are the base of the stem and the very top of the stem to make sure they are 3/8" in diameter. Then measure the length from the top of the "belly" ( the bulge near the caster body ) and the very end of the stem.
