BrandsMart USA is your source for 3D Television. With the newest models from
LG, we have the right 3D solution for you. 3D TV is actually an
plasma TV with 3D capability. How does 3D work? First the video content is
made in 3D format, where two images of the same scene are taken at the same time. Then this video content is sent to your 3D set from a 3D source like a
3D BluRay player or
3D content from your cable/satellite provider. This 3D content is then shown on a 3D capable television which is showing both images of the same content at the
same time. But without
3D Glasses, this image will be a blurry image that will be unviewable.
The 3D glasses rely on your visual perception or 'stereopsis' to blend the two images together into the 3D view.
There are two different types of 3D - Active and Passive 3D TV. The difference is in the glasses. Active 3D glasses actually use LCD technology in the glasses,
whereas passive glasses are similar to those glasses you get in the theater. 3D LED TVs can be passive or active, but 3D Plasma can only be Active 3D.
The latest 3D televisions have 3D quality equal to or better than most 3D theaters. They display high-resolution, high contrast 3D images that are far far away
from those days of the blue and red paper glasses!! The biggest difference between home 3D and theater 3D is your distance from the screen and the screen size.
Generally if you are going to go 3D, go BIG 3D. Go
60" 3D or bigger and you will never go to the theater again for 3D movies.
