Not bad with the price, but not durable

By martina

from canada

Comments about Sony Wireless Over-The-Ear Headphones:

I liked the charge design and the price, so I bought it a year ago. As a lot of people already mentioned the static problem, all I can say is that this is true. That is one of the reason that I am going to use bluetooth device. But the static was not as bad as other cheap ones. Now this headphone just stopped working all of sudden. So my experience with this headphone is that if the static and durable problem can be solved, this is a nice product.

MDR-RF925RK Wireless Headphones

By Jveil

from Florida

Comments about Sony Wireless Over-The-Ear Headphones:

I got these as a gift from my daughter for fathers day a couple of years back. I am deaf in one ear and I was make my wife go deaf too running the volume on the TV so high. These have really helped. I can put them on and hear everything said and not have to mess with the volume on the TV. It is to bad that they are not available anymore.

      Nothing but Static

      By Qball

      from Texas

Comments about Sony Wireless Over-The-Ear Headphones:

Permanent static regardless of what I do. I can hear sound but the static is still there. Even if the audio jack is not connected, the static is still there. Seems like it's an issue with the base.

      Too Much Static

      By Wasabijim

      from Santa Monica, CA

Comments about Sony Wireless Over-The-Ear Headphones:

I decided to buy these since it was a little cheaper than going with the Bluetooth headset. Well as they say you get what you pay for. in this case not much. The build quality is good but the sound is terrible. I'm only 6 feet from the TV and the charging base and I hear static. It will get louder or softer when I turn my head. It doesn't matter where I'm sitting or moving in the living room you still get the static. Very disappointed. It doesn't matter if I have the volume low or high on the headphones. The higher the volume on the headphones the more you hear the static. Save yourself the disappointment and go with a Bluetooth headset.

      Perfect

      By TCoRED

      from Sarasota, Florida

Comments about Sony Wireless Over-The-Ear Headphones:

These are amazing headphones, truly. The fact that they're wireless makes them great for playing guitar and is very nice when I want to get food and listen to music from youtube. I love the quality, 10 - 22k HZ is better than a pair of 400$ pair of "Dr. Dre Beats" that comes in at about 20 - 20k HZ. Extremely comfortable to wear for prolonged use. The only thing that's not great is the fact that they are not bluetooth so the device you are listening from must be anchored, but a pair of bluetooth stereo headphones is 200$+ so it's ok.

      Shame On You, Sony!

      By JoJo51

      from Santa Cruz, California

Comments about Sony Wireless Over-The-Ear Headphones:

I love Sony Products. My entire Home Theater is Sony, from speakers to the Bravia 3DHDTV to the 7.2 receiver. I have Sony computers and monitors.. So, I couldn't believe Sony would put their name on these, next to useless, headphones. Even at the reduced price, I didn't get what I paid for. In all my years, this is the first bad experience I've had with a Sony product. I'm still a die hard Sony Fan and will continue to buy Sony. Just stay away from these headphones!
