Light Emitting Diode (LED) is a highly efficient, environmentally friendly and mercury-free light source that delivers a brighter, more dazzling picture using less electricity than conventional designs. This HDTV meets the highest HDTV resolution and delivers 120 frames per second (most HDTV broadcasts at 1080i deliver only 30 fps). It also calculates new picture information to make images remarkably sharp and clear. Hitachi's state-of-the-art video processor is a supercomputer dedicated to video. Hitachi has over 50 years of experience in fine tuning teleivision pictures and the PicturePerfect processor produces an exceptionally sharp, detailed and noise free image.
