Easy to use controls and Bluetooth setup

      By MichaelBoza

      from Justice, Il

      Pros

      • easy to use setup and controls

      Cons

      • can't buy philips brand audio cable replacement

      Best Uses

Comments about Philips Wireless Noise Canceling On-Ear Headphones:

I got this pair of headphones to replace my old pair of a different brand that broke. The headphones are easy to use easy to connect to my phone the controls are easy to use my only problems with the controls are that the volume and change song button are hard to tell apart but other than that are fine. My last thing that I'm sad about is I lost my audio cable and Philips don't sell replacements but that doesn't have anything to do with the quality of the headphones I love these headphones and would probably buy future headphones from Philips.

Works fine with Android, BUT is not supported by Windows

        By Gilberto

        from Austin/TX

        Pros

        • reasonable sound quality for the price

        Cons

        • always hear "glitches" when switching in betw apps
        • can not connect to windows7 pc's

        Best Uses

Comments about Philips Wireless Noise Canceling On-Ear Headphones:

There are NO drivers available on Philips website. Philips Forum support people always ask the same questions to customers trying to connect their headphones to Windows PC's (have you tried connecting your phone to other computers or mobile phones?), without really having a quick solution for it. I cannot understand how Philips can keep this phone on the market, without supporting easy connection to PC's.

The wireless feature is the best part of the product

          By Pink54

          from Louisville, KY

Comments about Philips Wireless Noise Canceling On-Ear Headphones:

Not have a wire attached to my phone during my morning walks is great. Also, when the battery runs down having the option to still walk with the headphones with the wire attachment.

Not the Noise Cancellation I was Looking for.

          By Wolfsk

          from Othello, WA

          Pros

          • bluetooth works with computers as well as phones
          • easy to charge
          • good design

          Cons

          • noise cancellation is weak

Comments about Philips Wireless Noise Canceling On-Ear Headphones:

I got this product to try and drown out my roommate making loud calls to her mother every night while I tried to do my homework. While it does do some noise cancellation, its pretty much just limited to canceling out a little bit of my fan noise. I can still hear her, my own typing, and my neighbor who sings in the afternoon as I try to do homework. I guess if I want real noise cancellation I need to get construction headphones. It is still kind of nice having the loud fan quieted down, and there at least is some cancellation, but not the cancellation that was sold to me on the box. Really disappointed, especially since I bought this with a giftcard from my 21st birthday. I still like the bluetooth and it would cost more money in gas to go return it and get my money back, so I suppose I'll keep it for now. Not a product if you want actual cancellation, if there is an annoying small buzzing in your room then sure. But it can't cancel out most of the noises you want a noise canceling product to cancel out. You might have better luck just buying ear plugs - cheaper and probably cancels more sound.

Comments about Philips Wireless Noise Canceling On-Ear Headphones:

This product is truly amazing for the price I paid. I literally silences all sounds outside of the headphones. It's a soft and comfortable fit on my tiny ears and delivers great sound quality. The wireless feature is truly a bonus.

Comments about Philips Wireless Noise Canceling On-Ear Headphones:

I only want to use the noise cancelling feature to cancel out the noise in my office. I do not want to listen to music. I thought this product would do that but it doesn't seem to. I put them on, turned them on, turned on the noise cancel feature and could still hear everything. I will return them. I think I am asking it to do something it isn't designed to do.

Comments about Philips Wireless Noise Canceling On-Ear Headphones:

Purchased these to upgrade my SHB9100/28 headphones. The connectivity is very good and fast, connect immediately upon powering on. I like the adjustable design of the headset cups. Noise cancel feature works decently. Only issue I had was with sound quality. Live concert Youtube music videos sound hollow and dry making it hard to enjoy the distinguishable sounds of each instrument being played. Will return and purchase the SHB9250/27 with 40mm drivers tomorrow.
