I would recomend this mouse

Comments about Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse Surface Edition:

I brought this about 8 weeks ago to replace the useless Microsoft Bluetooth 5000 note book mouse, I hesitated for a long time, but I have found it to be a great mouse, and since the creators update it's even better. To be honest there are times when it crashes but a simple turn it off and on again fixes it. It may happen once a day. Its comfortable and I use it all day, I'm using it on a Surface Pro4

Best portable mouse I have owned

By Jerad

Comments about Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse Surface Edition:

I purchased this mouse over 2 years ago and it works great. I travel with it, drop it often and it still works flawlessly. The scroll has a clicking feed back feature that I really enjoy. I have a hard time using other systems because I have gotten so used to this feature. The batteries last for months of constant work. It works on every surface with in a hospital. I cant imagine a way to improve this mouse. I have read the latest reviews and the negative ones sound like people do not know how to use their own equipment or they changed a setting. I have had no problems with this mouse and the fact it is turned on by simply bending the body is the best feature of all.

Horrible Quality

Comments about Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse Surface Edition:

I've already gone through 3 of these things due to quality issues. The mouse will just hang and never reconnect to Bluetooth. It's unfortunate, because the mouse is a great form factor, really easy to get used to, but it's hard to get past the fact that it will just randomly break after a very short amount of time.

Worse than the touch pad

By Ryan123

Comments about Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse Surface Edition:

I bought this mouse about a week ago with my surface book and was expecting it to work like a normal mouse, but the shape is just too uncomfortable to use properly. the click buttons are too orientated to the front of the mouse which makes it hard or impossible to click if you have a "low" grip. The sensor is also at the front side of the mouse and therefore the mouse wont recognize any tilting of the back end of the mouse. I only realized how much I relied on this after buying this mouse, I find myself constantly pressing minimise or maximise instead of close in the top right corner, due to the weird placement of the sensor. The touch scroll wheel in the middle is also uncomfortable to use and vastly inferior to a physical wheel it has no click option and is often unresponsive, I can understand the reasoning for the design but it just is not worth the effort in my opinion. After a few days of use I have got to a point where I can use it almost as well as a normal mouse but I am still occasionally misclicking due to the sensor placement. I like the portability of the mouse but I find the touch pad easier to use and more accurate.

Handy and reliable and highly portable

Comments about Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse Surface Edition:

I don't always need a mouse, but it's there for me - in my slim briefcase - whenever I do. Great design, easy to use, tough as any electronic device I own.

FRUSTRATED!!!

Comments about Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse Surface Edition:

It just doesn't work. I cannot find my mouse device on my Windows 10 computer. I have even bought an external Bluetooth Dongle in a desperate attempt to FIND the device. I erroneously thought bad things about my Dell onboard Bluetooth radio thinking to myself it was the problem. But no! I have bought TWO Surface mouses for two home computers and I just can't pair them with the mouse whether it is a Windows 7 or 10. I'm just frustrated.

Handy mouse design!

Comments about Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse Surface Edition:

The mouse is well designed, feels good in my hand and folds flat to pack away. I use it with my Surface Pro 4 and it gives me much better control than the pad alone. That said it is a bit touchy to use and takes some getting used to. Its also a bit expensive for a mouse in my opinion. It feels of good quality and I don't expect to have any issues with it. I've had the mouse for a week of daily use so far.

Nice design but...

Comments about Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse Surface Edition:

The adjustable arc is a very nice feature. The center slide to scroll is a great idea, but not executed to perfection. Sometimes it works and sometimes - not so much. Sometimes it just dies and the only way to revive it is to pull a battery and wait for 5 or ten seconds then re-install the battery. The instructions say that it will do other wonderful things, but so far no luck.

Fits like a glove

Comments about Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse Surface Edition:

I love how this fits the contour of your hand... very comfortable to use. The only drawback is there is now a way to turn it off... that I have found. Had to take the batteries out or they went dead.
