Worst washer I ever owned

Comments about LG 4.3 CuFt Top Load Washer:

This machine has never worked properly from day one. The spin cycle stops and starts , filling with water over and over again and never finishing the load. Eventually it just stops. I have had it "repaired" 4 times with new control panels, with the same results it doesn't work.I think the problem is in the smart drum being too sensitive and thinking it's out of balance when it's not. At any rate I doubt it will ever work right and I am buying a new washer as soon as possible. Never another LG product for sure!

Comments about LG 4.3 CuFt Top Load Washer:

OK , I had the same unbalanced load error problem that develop after one year of not having issues with my LG washer. For the last month it took me over 3 hours to do a load because of unbalanced load issues. I then googled this and realized how many more people had the same issues and I asked why I bought this washer with so many problems reported. So I reread the owners manual and decided to level the washer as instructed in the manual from side to side and front and back. I then watched a tutorial on LG's website on how to load the washer and another on how the machine operates, thus I was able to understand loading the machine with heavy things first was so important. They also had tips on zippering your pant up and other ideas to help the machine do its job. I then pushed my washer up tight to the wall and put the dryer right next to it so it created a tight fit.. I then proceeded to do six loads and have had no issue with the unbalanced load error coming up. I hope this may eliminate a service call for other people and now I am once again a fan of my LG washer.

          Horrible washer.....constantly have to rebalance.

Comments about LG 4.3 CuFt Top Load Washer:

Unless you are washing a very small load, the "True Balance" does NOT work. We spend more time manually rebalancing, more water since it try's to rebalance with filling the tub each time it stops the cycle due to unbalanced. If we could we would exchange out to another unit. Stay away from this one!!!

Comments about LG 4.3 CuFt Top Load Washer:

I have had this machine for over a year now. From the beginning it has been such a hassle to just wash a load of clothing. If you put more than 3-5 items in to wash not only does it take over 2 hours to wash but some of it will come out as dry as when you put it in. I seriously watched yesterday as the spin cycle was on 12 minutes and it took over 45 minutes to FINALLY spin through the cycle.

              Poor cleaning

              By cwgm

Comments about LG 4.3 CuFt Top Load Washer:

This washer does get clean clothes. I had a front loader before this that did a great job so I'm not reviewing it against an agitator model. The "sensor" does not sense the laundry level to adequately fill the washer. There's little action to actually clean the clothes. Also the clothes often get unbalanced during the spin cycle requiring an extra rinse.

Prepare to have extremely high water bills

Normal loads, small loads, big loads, every load every kind of load at random will get UE errors. to fix it, no matter how much clothes are in there, it will fill all the way to the top with water, agitate to try and fix it then drain. If that doesn't work it beeps and you adjust it manually. BUT that wont work, the UE will come again and you will end up wringing out your clothes by hand to save some water. This is the worst washer I have ever owned in my life.

I purchased the dryer a few months back and loved it. My washer finally died and I purchased the matching washer. It is wonderful. Holds tons of towels or bedding. I love hat it has a self cleaning feature. Yes, I have to stand on a stool to reach all the way into the machine (I'm only 5 foot tall) but it is so worth it.

No matter how large or small the load is you will get an "UE" error. The machine will refill during the spin cycle in an attempt to rebalance the load. This happens on a spin only cycle. I regret purchasing this machine! Buyer beware!!! Do not purchase.

Too big, too slow, deceptive settings, noisy

Comments about LG 4.3 CuFt Top Load Washer:

I bought this to replace a small front loading high efficiency washer that broke down. This one is way too deep for my 5'3" height--I can't reach the bottom without lifting my feet off the floor. There is no rinse--spray rinse is not a RINSE--and you have to add nearly half an hour to get one. The only fast cycle with the real--aka "extra" rinse--takes an hour. From my kitchen, It sounds like jet airplanes taking off when running, even from its basement location with the door shut.
