A Stove that works for Small Spaces

By Barb Keer

Comments about KitchenAid 30" Slide-In Electric Range:

This stove provides even heat and the cook top is easy to use. The oven has many options providing maximum flexibility. Items that were baked in the oven were flavorful and crisp. It is also very attractive.

I love, love, LOVE this oven!!

By Lisa

from Iowa

Comments about KitchenAid 30" Slide-In Electric Range:

I do a lot of cooking/baking, and have shopped for a range for a very long time to find one that I thought would meet all of my needs. This one has not disappointed! The 3-racks hold 6 - 9 x 13 pans with ease! The steam tray is something I never thought I needed, but very handy. The burners on the glass top are as convenient as expected as well. Fits many sizes of pans with ease. I was extremely indecisive about what color of stove to get, as we were replacing all of our appliances at once. I have always had black and loved them. Wasn't a fan of the trendy stainless steel, but am very happy with this. Will go with anything, and looks very classy! If I had to complain, it would be for (2) "minor" issues. The warming drawer is amazing...but, I was specifically wanting to use it for dinner rolls. Too short for that! Fits only a cookie/brownie pan or 9 x 13 pan - due to height restrictions. The other downfall is the volume of the timer. If you're not right in the kitchen, you don't always hear the timer go off. Neither of these issues, however, would keep me from recommending this remarkable oven!

Thank you, KitchenAid for designing a functional oven for those of us that cook "industrial sized" in our own personal kitchens!

Worst Self-Cleaning Oven system I've even owned

By Happy Baker

from Nebraska

Comments about KitchenAid 30" Slide-In Electric Range:

I have had this range for a little over a year now and every time I try to clean the self-cleaning oven with the AquaLift Self-Cleaning Technology.......I can't believe I actually paid the kind of money that I did for the poor, poor quality that I received. I run it through the self-cleaning cycle 3x's and it still does not clean any of the oven surfaces except the very bottom of the pan that holds the water. The edges, door, and walls of the oven are in the same condition as when I started. You can't scrub it off either because you can't use anything on the over surface that might work. The recommended Affresh Appliance Cleaner is worthless in cleaning the oven. Does anyone have the answer to this problem???

Insufficient baking drawer

By Bake a cake

from Marrero, la

Comments about KitchenAid 30" Slide-In Electric Range:

The baking drawer cannot accommodate a half sheet pan, only a flat cookie sheet. So much for baking rolls while the turkey is still in the oven or baking a dozen cupcakes in the drawer.

Looks good, poor quality

By Dona

from Claremore, OK

Comments about KitchenAid 30" Slide-In Electric Range:

During installation the service person turned on the oven to check if it was working. Two hours after the service person left and the oven was turned off---it was still on and hot. One day KA was called and scheduled a service call. The repairman on day two of ownership said the entire electrical panel would have to be replaced. Until replacement the door has to be opened after it is turned off so it will shut down! The top is too hot and on low thing burn. The "hot" indicator light turns on for the opposite side of the range! The retailer said if anything else goes wrong, they will replace the range.

Good in Theory - Terrible in Reality

By Snowbird from OH

from Estero, FL

Comments about KitchenAid 30" Slide-In Electric Range:

I purchased the KSIB900ESS Slide-in Induction Range on 11/11/16 and it had concealed damage to the trim moldings upon delivery. The functionality of the induction range and oven work as advertised however, the quality of workmanship of the stainless steel trim is much less than desirable. While the initial damaged trim piece has been replaced, the replacement piece is also not accurately sized and thus the sleek design has been compromised. Kitchen Aid also advertised a wireless probe with the range as one of it's features and after 3 months I have still not received the wireless probe - it is claimed to be on back order. The promotion at the time of purchase also offered a free set of cookware upon registration of the serial number of the range. That cookware was also on backorder and it has also not been received as of 3 months after the purchase. It's not the range..... it's the company that I don't recommend.

Excellent. Just minor quibbles.

By Ben Mills

from Longmont CO

Verified Buyer

Comments about KitchenAid 30" Slide-In Electric Range:

Our new range is beautiful. Stainless steel and glass; very nice to look at. It bakes evenly and our cookies and cakes come out looking so much better than our previous 15-year-old range. The only drawback is the touchpad controls are supersensitive, and wiping off the surface sometime sets the oven or causes some other function to beep at me. It'd be great if there is a way to push a button to disable the touchpad while you wiped it off and then turn it back on again. And when the timer is set, it only beeps once when the alarm goes off. It will beep again after 30 to 60 seconds. But if you aren't listening for it, you'll miss it. It needs to have a louder, more attention getting sound.

Other than that highly recommended.
