Stove top is great... Not so sure about the oven

      By Suebakes

      from Reno, NV, United States

Comments about KitchenAid 48" Dual Fuel Freestanding Range:

I love the look of my range and it and the griddle work great. I had to have my first one replaced since the larger oven wasn't heating properly and the light kept going and staying on on its own. New one is heating but the vibration of the fan is making the light go on also. I have to keep pushing on the door to turn it off. I haven't used the convection cycle on either ovens yet but on bake cycle meats and even garlic bread aren't' browning like my old ovens did. I suppose it is the fans that are always on. A cake baked well though. So after just 2 months the jury is still out

Great looking oven and good price

      By Meatball

Comments about KitchenAid 48" Dual Fuel Freestanding Range:

This is our first gas oven in almost 30 years. We always wanted this type and were willing to pay the builders premium to have it. So far it has cooked everything to our satisfaction. The only complaints we have are the stainless steel scratches very easily and the control panel is a nightmare. It's very hard to keep clean and heaven help you if you touch it in error. We still would recommend this oven over others. We also wish that we had more choices than black for the knob controls. Kitchenaid can you help on this request.

      Form and Function

      By NuclearFamily

Comments about KitchenAid 48" Dual Fuel Freestanding Range:

Just remodeled the kitchen and this is my dream range. It is a beautiful centerpiece for my kitchen and provides everything I could ask for. From the well spaced burners to the convection ovens, I can cook for small and large groups easily. While I typically cook for a family of 4, we entertain often and these oven capacities can handle the challenge.

      Gorgeous

      By JAD11551

Comments about KitchenAid 48" Dual Fuel Freestanding Range:

So far I'm extremely pleased with this range. I bought it over the Viking based on reviews of reliability and the price savings was a real bonus too. I've only been using for 3 months, but so far it performs as I expected. The broilers seem extremely hot and seem to have a bit of a learning curve to get a perfect brown without burning, but I'm getting used to them. It looks gorgeous in the kitchen and cooking on it is a joy. I was skeptical about how much I'd use the griddle, but it heats very evenly and really is no trouble to clean.

For the most part a good appliance

      By PJoy

from Ballston Spa, NY, United States

Comments about KitchenAid 48" Dual Fuel Freestanding Range:

We purchased our Kitchenaid Stove for our new home. For the most part I love our choice. However there is one big set back for me, because we got a convection oven with a side convection oven not all my baking sheets fit. I can no longer make a round pizza because standard round pizza pan do not fit. The convection fan sticks out to far into the oven. The small oven does not accommodate standard size cookie sheet because the convection fan sticks out to far in the oven. This was a big disappointment to me. I thought with two ovens I would be able to do more holiday baking in a shorter period of time. I would absolutely buy this stove again but without convection ovens.

      Really nice

it is a great oven/range. The griddle is pretty much worthless though. It would have been nicer if it came with a grill or extra burners.

      Great oven

      By TheresaP

from New York, NY, United States

Comments about KitchenAid 48" Dual Fuel Freestanding Range:

I love this oven...only thing is that the oven door is very sensitive, you have to play with it a bit to be sure it is closed properly. The oven takes some time to preheat.

We really love this range. Can't go wrong with the 48 inch range. It cooks quickly and evenly. Price is much more reasonable than competition!

Great piece of equipment know to man

      By Zook

from Idaho Falls, ID, United States

Comments about KitchenAid 48" Dual Fuel Freestanding Range:

The best range we have EVER purchased. It fits all our needs. The only draw back is the griddle. It's doesn't clean up and look like new after three times of use. It's a hard to clean and sticks. But the ovens and top burners are great.
