BrandsMart USA has the right Food and Garbage disposal for your kitchen. See our selection of KitchenAid and Whirlpool disposers today. There are a couple of things to consider when choosing a food disposer. The first is safety. Batch feed disposers only run when the cover is on so they only run a batch at a time. They are generally considered safer because the cover eliminates a risk of injury or flying objects. Continuous feed disposers are the most common and will run continuously as long as the switch is on. These are convenient because you can funnel waste into the disposer while it is running.
Some other factors to consider when purchasing a food disposer, or garbage disposal, are stainless steel, noise and horsepower. If you plan on staying in your house for a long time, consider getting a disposer that is made with stainless steel parts. Disposers can corrode due to the constant exposure to water and food. Disposers made with stainless steel parts will resiste corrosion and will last longer than other disposers.
Most modern disposers, come with noise-deadening materials that reduce vibration and noise. All of our disposers come with noise and vibration reducing technology to make a quiet and rumble free operation.
The last factor is horsepower. Most Disposers are rated between 1/3 hp to 1 hp. What is right for you really depend on your family size and level of use. If you are crushing chicken bones, and disposing large amounts of waste, then the 1 hp disposal is probably right for you.
Consider a new disposer when replacing your dishwasher as they generally share the same waste line. Also see our full line of
