    one time use

    By cande034

Comments about Hoover MaxExtract60 Pressure Pro:

I bought this carpet shampooer thinking I would get a few years of use out of it. I had always heard Hoover was a good brand and had great products. I used this one time on one room in my house and it worked great!! When I went to use it a second time it no longer sprayed water, I occassionally would get a little trickle out of the hand held piece. Now I am stuck with the large useless machine. Very disappointed in the product!

    I purchased this product ...

Comments about Hoover MaxExtract60 Pressure Pro:

I purchased this product on 6-2-14 from Target, along with a 2 year warranty on it. I've had a lot of problems with it leaking from time to time. Sadly now whenever I turn it on, water and cleaning solution sprays out of the holes on the front without squeezing the trigger to have water and solution spray. I have tried returning it to Target where I bought it, they will not allow me to do so. I tried using the warranty that I have on it to get it fixed, they will not grant it even though I have it for up to $200.00 items. The price I paid for it was $189.99. I am now frustrated because it does not work and they refuse to fix it or let me have a new one. I have video of it spraying water all over the floor and receipts of my purchase.

Easy to set up use, but leaks.

    By Savage1

Comments about Hoover MaxExtract60 Pressure Pro:

I bought this today. I was so excited about finally owning a carpet cleaner. I read instructions and started cleaning. I used the hand tool first, it works pretty good. I went to move the machine to clean the back of my chair and water started pooring out of the back. I just used the hand tool to clean it up. Then I moved the vacuum to the tile to clean the stairs, water was coming out from the bottom. I think I am going to return this.

Cleans well, but leaves carpet soaked

    By Nicole C

Comments about Hoover MaxExtract60 Pressure Pro:

I have had this a few years now, and even had some parts replaced. The machine does clean well, but doesn't leave you with dry socks like they advertise at all. Lately I have to fill up the clean water and soap 3 times for a small room, We have cleaned the filters, and tanks.. not too happy with the amount we spent on this cleaner and how it works...

Same problems as described one year ago

    By mike4

Comments about Hoover MaxExtract60 Pressure Pro:

After using this machine for 3 months, a spring loaded plastic pin became unhinged inside of the water holding tank. a 50 cent piece at best, I have found that the entire tank has to be replaced at $35.00; and they have been out of stock for the last 3 months. Great job Hoover......

    Great Cleaner

    By VEG7

Comments about Hoover MaxExtract60 Pressure Pro:

I bought this cleaner over a year ago and I'm glad I did my research beforehand. Cleaning the carpets is important having 3 dogs 2 cats a toddler and newborn playing on the floor. The cleaner gets used probably twice a month for a deep carpet clean and weekly I run a steamer over the carpets. We use white vinegar instead of soap in the detergent compartment and it makes our carpets like new without leaving the carpets soaking wet! The only thing that I dislike is even after vacuuming the carpets before carpet cleaning a lot of hair gets stuck in the scrubbers underneath and its hard to get them out. We found using flossers helps a lot :) Overall very happy with my purchase!

Main problem: The clean water tank

    By Drew123

    from Medinah, IL, United States

Comments about Hoover MaxExtract60 Pressure Pro:

I bought the hoover max extract 77 a few months ago but unfortunately it is not sold anymore. The first one the water did not spray out so i called hoover took it to the shop and i got a brand new one. I would be happy but the water tank and shampoo compartment mix when i go to fill the machine up with water the second time. I even switch the nob to rinse to avoid the soap from mixing. Other wise this is a money saving machine and highly recommend it.

    poor quality

    By mad customer

    from fairbanks alaska

Comments about Hoover MaxExtract60 Pressure Pro:

I bought one it lasted 8 months, leaked the whole time then the spring in the handle broke. Called customer service they replaced it and surprisingly this one also only lasted 8 months. The motor crashed on this one. I'm so disgusted with the lack of quality, I never plan on buying a Hoover product again.

Hoover - Max Extract® 60 Pressure (NOT SO) Pro

    By lionleader

    from Calgary, AB, Canada

Comments about Hoover MaxExtract60 Pressure Pro:

This is a treible machine. When I first got it I thought it was awesome except for the water the constantly leak out the back dribble hole. The leaking was so bad I had to cut a wine cork to fit in there for everytime I used it. It's not even 1 year old and the screws on this inside of the collection bin are totally rusted dispite the fact that I never left water in there and was very dilligent in cleaning it out after every use. I can't believe Hoover didn't spend 10 cents more and use stainless steel screws. talk about cheap. Save your money people and purchase a real professional carpet cleaner instead.

    Avoid!

    By Walt1941

    from Seattle, WA, United States

Comments about Hoover MaxExtract60 Pressure Pro:

This was a refurbished model, so the warranty was only 6 months instead of 2 years. Never buy a refurbished! The tool nozzle leaked from day one. Hoover replaced it. The clean water tank caps leaked. Hoover replaced them. Constant problem with poor suction. Never resolved, thanks to short warranty period. The bottom cord hook broke. I had to purchase a new one. This cleaner goes to Goodwill. (Hoover does make some good and inexpensive vacuum cleaners.)
