Dyson
The Dyson DC39 Multi Floor has Dyson's latest Radial Root Cyclone™ technology, with airflows remodeled to maximize suction power. It has Ball™ technology to turn on the spot and follow with greater control. DC39 Multi Floor comes with a Triggerhead tool that adjusts at the handle for different floor types – no need to bend down.

Conventional vacuums rely on bags to trap dust and dirt. But when you start to use some bagged machines, dust can clog the tiny holes in the bag. Some ordinary bagless vacuums work in a similar way. They use a central filter to trap fine dust, which can clog too. Suction drops, leaving dust and dirt behind in your home.

Dyson's patented cyclone technology captures more dirt than any other cyclone. In Radial Root Cyclone™ technology remodeled airflows maximize suction power. Improved flow efficiency reduces turbulence and preserves air pressure, so more microscopic particles are extracted by the inner cyclones. These refinements help remove more dust, allergens and pet hair from the home.

Conventional upright vacuums use fixed wheels. But wheeled vacuums can be awkward to steer and can make you work a lot harder than you need to. All that back and forth around corners and obstacles. Ball™ technology is a radical alternative to fixed wheels. Dyson Ball™ vacuums ride on a ball, which pivots on itself so you can instantly change direction with just a turn of the wrist.

The Triggerhead tool is the only turbine head controlled at the handle. No need to bend down and adjust when moving between floor types. A rotating brush bar deep cleans carpets – push the trigger and it switches off to protect delicate rugs and hard floors.

Ordinary vacuums can’t always retain all the dust they remove – so some of them vent some of it back into your room in the air they expel. That’s the reason for the dusty, electrical smell. Dyson cyclones can capture microscopic particles such as pollen, mold and bacteria.

Emptying the bin on a Dyson vacuum is quick and hygienic. Just press the button to release the dirt. The bin is clear, so you can see when it needs emptying – and how much dust, dirt and pet hair the machine has captured. Dyson vacuums were the first to have clear bins – despite market researchers insisting it was a bad idea. Now clear bins are everywhere (though not all are made from the same ABS polycarbonate as riot shields, like Dyson bins).

Comments about Dyson DC39 Multi-Floor Canister Vacuum - Closeout:

Picks up a LOT that my old vacuum left, from the spaces between boards in my wood floors. BUT, it fills up far too quickly, and then kicks particles back at my feet. I'm hoping that with repeated use, it will stop doing that.
It is louder than I expected, not really any quieter than any other vacuum.
I love the many attachments that come with it. I've even cleaned the ceiling fan with it.
This vacuum did not come with all the attachments advertised, and I had a heck of a time getting the missing part from Dyson. But, eventually, it was all worked out.

Comments about Dyson DC39 Multi-Floor Canister Vacuum - Closeout:

I like the product very much. Its wonderful to be able to clean carpets and tile floors without having to change the vacuum attachments, it smoothly switches over at the push of a button. There are a lot of attachments, most of which I havent used yet. There is even one for cleaning ceiling fans. The instructions arent very easy to understand. I was able to put it together easy enough, but it took awhile to figure out how to empty it, turns out was much easier than I thought, but it was just difficult to figure out with their odd pictures.
The only thing I wonderabout is that its all made of plastic, so I dont think it will last as long as my Kenmore 20+ years.

        Unhappy Customer

        By WallHousehold

Comments about Dyson DC39 Multi-Floor Canister Vacuum - Closeout:

After hearing from so many people about how much they love their Dyson and doing research, we purchased the DC39 Animal Canister vacuum with our wedding money in the beginning of 2012. We have 2 dogs that shed terribly, so I wanted a vacuum that could keep up with the mess they leave. After using the vacuum for a few years, I really am not thrilled with it at all! This vacuum does has its pros and cons, the cons greatly outnumber the pros, however! Pros: 1. Works great on hard surface floors. 2. Easy to operate. 3. Small enough to maneuver under furniture. 4. Love the retractable cord. Cons: 1. Difficult to go from hard surface floors to carpet/rugs (have to switch heads) 2. Static electricity causes fur/hair/dust to stick on the outside of the vacuum handle and I feel like I need a vacuum to get the fur of my vacuum. 3. The Tube and Cord are too short to do a flight of stairs without having to carry the canister and unplug 1/2 way through. 4. Seems to lose suction power quickly. 5. Canister is NOT easy to clean out - quite messy. 6. Expensive! 7. and my biggest complaint...I HAVE TO CLEAN OUT THE BRUSHES ON THE BOTTOM OF THE CARPET VACUUM ATTACHMENT AFTER EVERY SINGLE USE. This means using a screwdriver and taking it apart and then using scissors to cut out all of the hair and fibers that have attached themselves. I do not want to clean my vacuum every time I use it! SERIOUSLY ANNOYING!!! If you have long hair or if you have lots of pet hair or if your house has lots of hard wood to carpet areas...this is not the vacuum for you!

Kind of expensive but a good vac. Only drawback, it is kind of difficult to use on area rugs but on hard floors it is great and has plenty of suction.

It got the Body and the Brains

        By VTRON

Comments about Dyson DC39 Multi-Floor Canister Vacuum - Closeout:

Many companies produce products that are aesthetically pleasing to the eye, but put little to no effort in coming up with smart ideas to maximize the functionality of their products. I had vacuum cleaners that are powerful, but noisy and heavy, I've had ones that are light-weight but are less powerful and fragile, or the ones that worked great in the beginning but it'd eventually stop working altogether. None of them provide access to the agitator Brushroll…. As it gets older, the brush roll gets wrapped around and covered by layers of tangled hair….. to a point where the brush roll no longer brushes, then the vacuum is practically useless. I've never seen or own a vacuum cleaner that has it all: Powerful, light-weight, easy to use, low maintenance, durable, easy storage.... and definitely not one that pleases my eye… UNTIL the day when I first lay eyes on Dyson products, the great looks and brilliance of their vacuums dazzled me….. things were never the same again. I've never seen a vacuum cleaner so powerful, and beautifully created with such level of thoughtfulness. No more bags, easy access to untangle hair on brush roll, washable filter, super quiet, light weight, and sexy. I ain't hiding this one in a closet like I did with all my other ones. The brilliant design solutions of Dyson products not only improved the quality of my life, it has also made house chores a lot less time-consuming, and more enjoyable.

this is a very light vacuum which makes it easier to move around the house and get up and down the stairs. the steering took awhile to get used to but now i can manuever it easily. the suction is fabulous and it cleans edges like no other vacuum i have used. i am very pleased with the power. i love the retractable cord. cons: i wish the cord was longer and its not as easy to empty as i thought it would be......seems that it should be emptied after each use and emptying is messy.

        Just one little thing.

        By LeftysMom

        from Undisclosed

Comments about Dyson DC39 Multi-Floor Canister Vacuum - Closeout:

I've had the upright animal ball for about 4 years and love it. I found this on sale and thought it would be great for stairs/under furniture, so I bought it as a secondary vacuum. It's great in all aspects except it's incredibly messy to empty the canister. The upright dirt canister only requires one hand to hold, push the release button, and empty. This dirt canister requires both hands (one to hold it and one to push the release button) and even then, the dirt/dog hair doesn't fall out. Inevitable, I end up with dust all over my hand from holding the bottom open enough for everything to fall out. If there's a solution, I'm open to it!
