Comments about Cuisinart Wide Mouth Food Processor:
The good side; it has a lot of power and "only" the base (Machine) is easy to clean.
The negative side; the big mouth is a nice idea but designed in a bad way; it would be too long to explain the faulty design therefore to make it short you have to prep more and waste time to use the big-mouth function; on the other hand the inner smaller mouth is to small so once again for a small job you have to do extra prepping = more time wasted.
Second if you shred; the blade and the stem holding it are a bad design; to many nooks and crannies you have to clean them by hand then by a dishwasher.
Last, again a flaw in the design; better clean by hand the work-bowl because you find soapy water trapped in the handle if cleaned in a dishwasher.
Needless to say I do not recommend this item; retuned it a few days later. Very pricey and a really bad design. The irony is that my eight years old B & D that still works is better designed so I do not have to waste my time.
Reason I bought the above pro. It has a stronger motor then my current working machine)
