Comments about KitchenAid Built-In Double Drawer Dishwasher:

initially, 7 years ago, we thought this was a great idea, but not anymore. The drawers won't stay open long enough to put dishes in or take them out, without propping the drawer(s) open! The "normal" clean cycle isn't great...simple stuff that's set in for half a day doesn't come off the dishes, so we basically have to wash the dishes before putting into the dishwasher. Kind of glad to see this model has been discontinued, however, I wonder how we will get parts, if needed down the road....

Comments about KitchenAid Built-In Double Drawer Dishwasher:

I bought this Dishwasher because of the unique design and beautiful appearance. Along with it being a KitchenAid, I knew it would be top of the line. I've had this double drawer dishwasher for 5 yrs. It's been worked on 4 times. Now that the 5th time is here. It has NEVER cleaned my dishes well, does not sanitize, LEAVES A SOAPY RESIDUE ON GLASSES, Etc.

Comments about KitchenAid Built-In Double Drawer Dishwasher:

Replaced this one with a Fisher Paykel Dishwasher that I loved. This one is better! Very important that you take your time installing it and level each drawer from the back to the front. Do not skip one step. Then you will end up with a very quiet, no leaking, no drawers opening beautiful dishwasher! Dishes get so clean and dry, love it. Or, have it professionally installed that is offered at the store. It comes with 6 cycles to wash, the only thing that might be a down fall is a couple of the wash cycles are long. There are 2 short ones that clean excellent and you can use those if you don't want to go with the longer ones.
